I’m hoping this post will prompt classmates to take a few minutes and use the “Comments” button to tell us where you are and what you are doing today. Although some of us were able to catch up at the reunion, this didn’t happen for everyone. I, for one, am curious about where my friends are, what they are doing, and where they’ve been for the last 30 years. Share, won’t you?

Although Leo and I live down the coast a bit, outside of Port Lavaca, I really haven’t strayed that far from my home and my roots. I am a database designer with my own company, contracting for ExxonMobil for the past 6 years. I keep an apartment in Houston (yuck!) near Ellington Field, and work downtown. I work for different segments of the company, but regularly work for my sister Ginger. Not as odd as it sounds, we both like that arrangement a lot!
Leo and I have four girls between us. Melissa [30] is his, and we don’t hear from her much. Michelle [28] is his, and she is a bubbly, fun lady that we love to be around. My Rebecca [25] lives north of Austin with her hubby, a dog, and a donkey. My Rachael [25] is the one with all the kids (4) and lives in the Liberty area.
After years and years of going to school now and then, I finally got off my duff and finished, graduating from the University of Houston in May 2007. Before graduating, I entered a strenuous, fast-paced Master’s program at the University of Texas in Austin and graduated less than a year later in May 2008. My husband Leo is coming out of retirement to go to work in Nigeria soon, and I am hoping to follow him with a position there before the end of the year. Time for some ADVENTURE in my life!

My husband, Louis and I will be married for 28 years on October 25th of this year, we live in Danbury, and have two daughters, Miranda (24) just graduated college and Lysbeth (18) just graduated high school. I have worked in Angleton for Ford Contractor Supply since May 1, 1981, that’s 27 years. I started my own cake decorating business 6 years ago, and I stay so busy that I have to schedule time off to get a weekend off. My daugther Miranda is suppose to be making me a website but for now I have a myspace with pictures of cakes that I have done, so if you would like to see my work go to: http://www.myspace.com/cake_shop, I also posted pictures from the class reunion there too.
